About ForzaHelper
Hi! I'm Sandeep, though you may know me as waz. I am a passionate motorsports enthusiast and a dedicated fan of the Forza series. I didn't just vibecode Forza Helper for fun. I have my reasons. I take part in the community games over at AR12's Discord server. We do all sorts of fun challenges. Now, I know a decent bit about cars. But, what I don't know is if a certain 90s Japanese shitbox made by Honda has over a 100 horsepower or not. The ingame filters are just a pain to work with. They are functional but very primitive and time consuming. Scrolling through them is a nightmare. So, the next time Beaker posts that we are gonna do a Touge challenge where you have to take a Japanese car under 35K credits, that has to be lightweight and realistic. I can just type that request in Forza Helper's Car Finder feature, and voila, I've got options. I hope you will find this tool useful. Refer the tiles below for information about the data.

Where the data comes from
I built a PostgreSQL database on Supabase to store and manage the car data for ForzaHelper. Since, there is no publically available official API for the car list, I created a partial dataset from the official car list on Forza.net. Afterwards, I manually added stats like- Power, Torque, Weight, etc from community-based forums as well as in game statistics. Yes, it was very exhausting.

Units
Imperial and metric are separate columns in my database, not client-side conversions. The unit switch in the header changes which column is read for torque, weight and power-to-weight in the table, in filters and sliders, and in sorting. Power is always in HP and value always in credits, so those never change. Weight and torque range filters reset when you switch, because their bounds belong to the other unit.
